The amendment to the Ministerial Ordinance of the Telecommunications Business Act and the Terminal Equipment Regulations has been made, and a new "Security Standard" has been established. This new regulation differs in nature from the previous ones, and guidelines regarding it have also been published. The enforcement of the new regulation will begin on April 1, 2020. UL Japan has already started multiple certifications.
